I REALLY hope they fix the ship scaling in the next miracle patch.

It's not a big deal, I know (well maybe it is).

I was soooooo excited to jump into my first cruiser. I've always liked the "big boats" so to speak. How dismayed I was when a Defiant pulled up next to me. Its ridiculous.

I'm not sure where the "fun" is, in having a behemoth Defiant that is nearly the same size as an Akira and what not, but I for one REALLY appreciated the differences in size of ship EVE had. It really gave that game a feeling of grandeur, and filled you with awe saddling up next to a capital ship in my stealth bomber. In STO, its all a bunch of sameness.

Anyone else feel the same way? Anyway, this is something I'd appreciate being fixed.

    meh, at least I can directly steer my own ship in STO. That's invaluable for someone who has always steered his own ship. I come from playing Wing Commander, I-War, etc. and what EVE does is inexcusable to me. I want to fly a ship, not send it around RTS style.
