It was pretty flawless for me yesterday ... Today? The launcher can't even ping the account server so I can't even get into the game that way.

If I run the game executable it can't contact the account server at all.

So basically, I'm without a paddle.

Where abouts are you in the world? :P

Hmm, I've had nothing but DC's between instances and zoning. How do you know
    you're using EU proxy?

    (I'm in London too)

    You're gonna love me...

Playing in France on a crappy 3G connection that is throttled down to stone-age levels for most of the monthly subscription and I have found STO playability and loading times to be fantastic, something I cannot say about CO.

One of this games more redeeming qualities I thought?....

When you are in the launcher - go to options at the top, and a little box pops up and you can select the eu proxy - and then all your stroubles should end.

I'm in the UK, and whenever I have connected I have had no problems. Usually ping and around 180ms with very little rubberbanding which is pretty good considering.

I haven't tried playing this weekend though as I hadn't the time but I believe there has been issues and whatnot.

Sadly hasn't helped me at all, I'll go back to playing something else today I guess.

Yep, seems I had it on EU proxy all along. I'll try doing a safe load instead of a fast load.

See if that has any effect. If not. *shrugs*

    Move along time.

I live out in the woods in middle england ( no joke ) and have a stone age 1.4mb line on a good day and apart from some rubber banding when the servers about to melt i have no probs.

Biggest issue for me was downloading the game so far for beta, took me 16hrs that

So im kinda dreading the 45 day content patch lol.

Playing in the UK here. I only get the very occasional rubberbanding. But it's VERY easy to cope with since it's not very much. Even Fleet Actions run fine.

Playing from France on a decent connection. i wouldn't call it great but i had to face queue once since the head start and no disconnects just crashes for which my ATI card is responsible. A little lag every now and then but nothing game breaking.

Through all of beta, closed and beyond.

Next to no lag. Minor rubberbanding later on at night.

The game only seems to be using about 10KB/s (combined up/down) - so the bandwidth shouldn't be an issue for anyone, only the latency :)

In space, in any system or sector I have great responce; its only when I do a ground mission I encounter (non-graphic) lag. However, the ground lag does seem to be improving; this last server-optimization today has practically halfed my combat lag on the ground maps, which makes me happy :)

My first MMO as i thought my connection was pretty rubbish. However, ive had a pretty good connection so far in STO.

Ive been kicked out a few times, dont know why, but on the whole ive been able to log back in to where i was before, even joined back in the fighting if i was at the time.

Also had a 'BIG' Fleet action today and had absolutely no issues, no lag at all.

Ive been very lucky, i hope it lasts, touch wood.

South of London in the sticks.
    ADSL
    2MB
    TalkTalk
Getting about 135 ping when i checked
Dont know what Proxy im on, never looked.
