Red, Yellow, and Green Alert

I would like to see Red, Yellow, and Greed Alert conditions added to Star Trek Online. Functionally, they would store preset power settings and automatically and manually toggle between them based on system conditions.

Red Alert would be the current "in combat" mode. Yellow Alert would automatically trigger when there are hostiles on sensors, but the ship isn't in combat. Green Alert would automatically trigger when there are no hostiles on sensors. When the ship is in combat and moves to out of combat, it would switch to yellow if there are enemies on sensors, green otherwise.

A small audio noise can be made when switching between alert levels. It would play the standard Star Trek noise for those alert levels for 2 beats, and then mute itself. Perhaps there can be other visual clues as to which alert status it set.

I would place the controls for these alerts above the current buttons for power settings. It would be a horizontal list. The first entry would be a green light followed by the text "Condition Green". Below it would be a yellow light for "Yellow Alert" and then red for "Red Alert". The light would be lit based on which alert is in use.

By default, red & yellow would be unset while green would use the default of all power systems equal. It would be up to the player to decide what settings each condition would have. The alert would simply remember whatever setting was last used.

Let's say the player is at condition green and sets the power to full impulse. They then got into range of enemies. Since it is the player's first time in yellow alert, the power setting will remain the same. The player then reduces power from the engine to balance everything out to equal. When the ships come into weapons range and open fire, the ship goes to red alert. Since it is the first time, the power settings remain at equal. the player then diverts all power to weapons.

After defeating the ships in range, the ship goes from red alert to yellow alert if there are still ships in sensor range. The power settings then switch back to the last one used for yellow alert, which is everything equal. If the player were to then move out of sensor range and the ship falls back to condition green, the power settings then reset to full power to engines.

An alternate way would be to configure them through a menu system and have it locked that way, but I think this would combine simplicity, ease of use, and mostly backward compatibility with current playing styles.
