Chat auto scrolling

I am having issues with the chat box, where if i scroll up to look at something i missed then scroll back down, a lot of the time, it will remain stationary. Any further chat window activity i have to manually scroll down again and try keep it at the bottom.

There needs to be some scroll lock feature to prevent the lack of movement in the active chat window once you scroll back down to the latest chat.

might be lag, Ie. you scroll down to the bottom but an update hits while you're hitting the bottom end, therefore cancelling the stick to bottom (haven't really checked, but have scrolled up a number of times and haven't noticed a problem with scrolling with exception to mentioned below - bug reports were filed for one of them - filling out bug reports for every single bug wouldn't leave any time to actually play). It wouldn't hurt to a 'jump to bottom' button or 'End' (opposite of the 'Home' - jump to top) function.

Scrolling with updates isn't the only problem. I've personally seen my Combat tab not update unless I switch tabs and back to it. Also, while setting chat tab settings - specifically editing settings on one tab and then changing to another tab - the settings don't update to reflect the tab being edited unless you change the master chat edit window(like Tab, Options, etx) tab and then back.
