incoming messages

Is there anyway to have incoming messages NOT pop up in the middle of the screen (obscuring everything) and stop them from forcing your ship to a complete stop?

Out of combat it's a mild annoyance. In combat those two effects combined can be very detrimental indeed. :mad:

    this is the single most annoying thing i find in the game right now...whats worse is it doesnt remember your window position the way it does for your skill windows

    i would think at the very least they would allow you to resize the window, and move it out of obstructive view, so next time it pops, it will remember that position

    there have also been many many threads/posts on this subject so i hope the message is getting across to them and the idea sits on a patch list :)

    One can only hope...

    A friend of mine mentioned there is setting to prevent messages from stopping your ship though. Going to have to dig around and find it.
