honestly i only watch the superbowl for the big budget commercials, but this year it looks like there will be slim pickings...

No STO for me during the superbowl, have had seats reserved at the Ale House for months to watch the game... though it does seem tempting to stay home and just have it on in the background!!

STO. Superbowl is pointless and uninteresting.

I have a TV right next to my monitor so I'll be watching the game while traveling between systems. I also got a new minifridge next to my computer desk and its fully stocked with beer so I'm all set for sunday.

I have no interest in either team in the big game this year as the Redskins sucked this year, the Steelers didn't make it, and Favre didn't make it.. My wife and kids will be out of town visiting the in-laws. Judging by the forecast I'll be snowed in over the weekend (unless I REALLY have somewhere to be thanks to my Jeep)

I'll probably play STO with the bowl on as background.

    Superbowl then D&D.

As an aside, as someone from the Eastern time zone, it sucks having the superbowl start at 3:30 (since I live in California now). It's bad enough that games start at 10am during the regular season but a 3:30 Superbowl? There's only one time zone for football fans and it's the Eastern time zone.

I'll probably have it on in the background while playing STO. I'm really not that interested in the Bowl this year.

Since I don't really care much about american football I'll stick with STO, unless there is a good soocer (which is actually Football Football) game on! ;)

sports is dumb what is superbowl? football? cricket? tennis? something else?

TBH never saw the point of watching F'wits kick a ball around a field

I prefer curling up with a good fantasy book or on a couch with good fantasy or sci fi show on

so i'll be playing STO if the server ever effing lets me connect :(

I will be watching the Superbowl this sunday with friends in the UK. I love my sports just as much as I love my sci-fi etc. Also have the RBS Six Nations & the Tri-Nations to look forward to.

Black 'N Gold all the way!

Probably STO. We aren't hosting a Superbowl party this year, and I don't really care for either team so there's no real point in watching.

Now, in a couple of weeks when the Daytona 500 rolls around, there's no question; this captain's making his first trip to Risa.

I'll maybe have it playing on my 40" viewscreen while my attention is diverted to the 22" viewscreen next to it playing STO. ;)

[edit] But once the NHL Finals come around, I'll be watching that and maybe have STO on in the background. \o/ [/edit]

Since I have STO installed on my 17 inch Dell gaming laptop that is currently in the family on a TV diner table infront of the 50 inch Flat screen, I'll be able to exercise my superior multi-tasking skills and do both.

Both, I play STO on a laptop, so I will just move the computer from teh desk to the Ottoman and with any luck the Cats will stop biting my feet while I am multi-tasking between STO and the Superbowl. Go Colts!

During the Cup finals I may forget I have a computer! Especially if the Capitals make it this year.

Reminds me of a Redskins game I watched on TV. Fans showed up in Ovechkin Jerseys with signs that said Go Caps!!! It might have been the primetime game against the Giants with the really...we'll just say odd fake field goal.

STO. Never did get into watching sports, they're better when you're playing them. The only thing that can pull me off STO is if the mod fairy leaves some parts for my truck(s).
