Goirns diarrhea attack?

OK, so this has happened to me for a while and it's been driving me nuts. So what exactly is happening here? I get head butted by some gorn guy, then I spend the next 3 minutes on and off being 'held' and appearing to blow **** all over the ground. Now, I realize it might be a status effect causing me to be held, but what exactly is happening here?! Nothing comes up on my hud to indicate I'm actually infected with something, so I'm at a loss. Plus it's kind of annoying, but status effects usually are.

I'm just baffled and curious, mostly.

    it's a hold gorns use. if it's not showing on the hud that's a bug

    I saw this last night too. On the mission where you go to the planet with Gorn just walking around everywhere and you have to shut down the 3 generators to kill the "boss" gorn. It gets quite annoying after a while. I thought it was on underground or something that had glitched through and I couldn't target him.

    I think some glitch and keep reapplying the hold. Had it happen to me, sat there held the whole time while my away team killed everything. Get free and immediately re-held.

    me and my mates couldent stop laughing at this... just the 3 of us crouching over taking a huge diarea dump over and over again at random.... then getting a bunch of rocks thrown at us.... shame we cant kirk judo chop them back

    im assuming the animation is actualy meant to be vomiting.... only i think they bugged up the animation a bit.... I for one hope like the RAINBOW phasers problem is one that is never fixed simply becouse its funny as hell

    Oh, but you can. Unequip your weapons and you'll go into full on Kirk combat mode. There are combos within the system as well. At one point there was a thread in which someone had listed it all out in detail, but it's gone or archived now. Pity. Still, experimenting can be fun.
