Thought I'd see if there are any fellow LOST fans out there, with the season premiere starting tonight. I for one will be glad to see the show wrapped up this season (hopefully without 500 unanswered questions).
I was there for the pilot six years ago, and I'll be there for the premiere tonight (though I'll also be itching to play STO, as well)! It will be great to see where they take the show, because it's taken turns I never imagined six years ago!
Absolutely love Lost, I have all 5 season DVD sets as well. Been waiting for tonight for months! There's a sadness that comes along with that though....while on the one hand it will be great to finally have the biggest answers/mysteries revealed, it's going to be hard to see it go when it's done in a few more months.
Lost has been one of the most awesome shows I've ever seen in my entire life, because it's the closet thing you can ever get to having a full length captivating novel brought to life on television I've ever seen, in addition to the fact that it's something truly *different* from all the other TRIBBLE reality shows or shows based on law firms or hospitals or a bunch of real life scenarios that I can't even begin to fathom why anyone watches. I watch television or movies to escape reality for awhile, not to revel in more of it. I get enough 'real life' already in an every-day capacity. And I've always laughed at all the impatient whiners who try and hate on the show because it introduces questions/mysteries and doesn't spoon-feed people the answers quickly enough for them. No truly great book worthy of reading does that, and while I understand you can read a book from start to finish in a few days, I love the notion of having it brought to life via a television series like this. It's been the ultimate 'water cooler' show with me and several co-workers for years now.
Ok, anyone that watched last night.....I reversed and replayed the ending at least 5-6 times.....tell me I'm not the only one who could have sworn that sounded like Charlie's voice coming out of his mouth??
Followed it from the start. I haven;t watched the first episode from this season yet but will do so this weekend. It has been an epic series, and worth sticking with.

No, never got into it.
