Subscription Required Immediately?

So I'm trying to activate my game....and I can't without also buying a subscription or a game card key? Cuz I can't do either right now for various reasons. Why can't I use the 30 free days before being bothered about a subscription?

    All subscription based MMOs requires credit card information in order for you to play the game.

    You won't be charged until your free 30 days are up.

    Yep yep, it's really standard to do these days.

    I can confirm you won't get charged right away.
