Battle Cruiser isn't Fed Cruiser?

I bought some canons for T2 cruisers... Well looks like I can't use them :-(

Especially "Battle Cruiser" was wrapped on 2 lines, and I simply read on the second "Cruiser"..

    Cruisers can't use those cannons at that Tier, only Escorts.

    So what you're saying I can use on Tier 3? I bought those 180" cannons.. Wanted to experiment a bit. T3 cruiser with rapid fire 2 cannons in front 2 turrets in back.

    No. I believe the rule in the game is that cruisers cannot use cannons at Mk III (restricted to lt commander) and above.

    I saw one of these new labelings today, I was thinking it might be a cruiser item, then I thought about "Battle Cruiser", so it might be just for Klingons.

    Battle Cruiser is a Klingon designation. Tier 2 or 3, don't remember which.

    Yeah got a nice blue tier 2 cannons being tops in something (cant remember what it was) and scratched my head for a few minutes wondering why I couldnt equip them on my cruiser. At least I can sell them for 5k in my replicator.

    Cannons can be equipped on Escorts, Birds of Prey, and Battlecruisers. Battlecruisers are ships that the KDF gets from tier 3 to tier5. They are the KDF equivalent to Federation cruisers that sacrifice EHP (roughly 8-10%) for a much better turn rate and the ability to equip cannons.


    The only cannons that can be equipped on ships not listed in the above classes are Mk1 and Mk2 cannons (which have no restrictions), and turrets.
