For some unknown reason, if:
then the A and D keys swap functions.
If this is unintentional, please fix it.
If this is intentional, please add an option to disable it.
There is not much in the game more frustrating than expecting your ship to keep turning to the left, look behind you, and suddenly your ship veers to the right instead.
So much of this game seems to be about fighting with the user interface's attempts to guess what I want and help, then having it guess wrong. Just leave my input unfiltered and do what I say.
- your starship is moving in reverse
- you're holding both mouse buttons and
- you happen to look toward the rear of the ship,
then the A and D keys swap functions.
