Escort or Science for PVP

Any preferance on ships? Or at t2 it doesnt matter

    This is from my experience in tier 2 pvp. I've been playing Klingon (until launch). And I got to say... Science vessels suck solo. If I find one on their own, they are dead. Period. They never go through even my shields, on my flimsy BOP shields.
    The escort on the other hand can dish out as much damage as me so it's an actual fight.

    That being said, science are very useful and needed for grouping, which the feds have to do out of necessity. They are great at finding cloaked ships if they know how. The escorts are less effective in group pvp as the science, as they will get targeted first and go down fast. The science can stay there longer.

    If your playing in a group, any ship type is good....each has its own purpose so you should decide and then focus skills, systems, and bridge officer recruitment on that decision.


    If you think of going Solo, Escorts are your best bet. But you still need to focus skills, systems, and bridge officer recruitment on that decision.

    At Tier 3, Science Vessels gets to use Viral Matrix. And thats a I-Win-button for Feds.

    Stick with Science Vessel, you might suck at Tier 2 but you'll rock at Tier 3.
