    They really made the Briar Patch a far less painful experience for headstart/launch. I'm impressed :D

    Yay, more downtime. It would be nice if they warned us this time. I can understand no warning when the servers crashed, but Cryptic is calling this emergency maintenence...

    Oh well, we'll be back in soon enough. But I wouldn't be suprised if we see more downtime and a patch later tonight.

    Hello John, and thanks for dropping in to ask about our fleet. You can apply at http://federationfleet.guildlaunch.com . That is our official site and forum.

    The Admiral will get to your application soon and you'll be a welcome addition to the fleet. We have positions available across all fields (Engineering, Tactical, Science). If you know what you want to focus on in game please let us know so you can be assigned to an appropriate branch in the fleet. If you ever change your mind, no biggie.

    Our main goal is to have fun, and all FF asks of its members is to be friendly and respectful of others.

    I would send an invite in-game myself, but my ISP is very unstable right now. :mad:

    As promised here is Loaded Squirrel's Fully Loaded Gaming Tip of the Day for all of our Star Trek Online friends:

    Always wanted a working bridge console? Well its called a touch screen panel, its available, and its cheep enough to have at home for use in gaming. This is of course in addition to all its business uses as a tablet or as an extra monitor, but we'll focus on how to make it a Captain's Console. :D

    Most video cards worth their salt have dual monitor ports and the ability to clone the picture to both. Depending on the monitor you get you want the touch driver to be a mouse emulator to assume compatibility with most click and play (MMO style) games.

    Either add or replace your monitor with a touch screen panel (monitor), tilt it back and play like your at the helm. STO literally at your finger tips.

    Once again it's late (3am) and I'm still up. Ugh. Must sleep. Today is the first day of official launch!! Woot!
