Lifetime Deadline

I know this has been asked, But my searchfu is weak. The deadline for the 240 on the webpage says the first. Does that mean I have to buy it before the first? Or can I buy it ON the first of feb? Just wondering because that would mean a bank run for me today to deposit as opposed when I get paid on the first. My work checks are direct deposit.
