Skill Points consumed, no skills gained

Anybody else having an issue spending skill points and not getting the skills? I've spent a few thousand points skilling up but when I reopen my skills window its back to where I was before and the points are gone.

    Yes, I have had that happen to me a few times but only with my bridge officers... that bug seems to have come along from the beta...
