I want FREE game time! What do Lifers get for this downtime?

SystemSystem Member, NoReporting Posts: 178,019 Arc User
ROFL, I know this thread is going to come from someone who means it soon, so I figured I'd make a joke of it before someone posts it seriously.

I PAID for this time and I can't play! ME MAD! MAD! MAD! MAD!

I want you to give me a free month of game time because I can't pay right NOW when I want to!

But what about the people who bought life time subs!??? NOT FAIR! BAD! Give them 1000 c-store credits or refund them 1% of the price they paid per hour of down time....

Yeah!.... MmmmHhmmmm...

(Seriously my 6 year old is taking this better than most people here on the forum... He found something to do until the game is back up...)

Actually, I'm pretty sure they were making a light hearted joke... I hope so, cause I giggled a little.

Lifers get to look stupid for paying over $200 for a game subscription. So sit back and play monopoly.

Here's an idea, for those that are upset they can't get into the game 100% of the time go to Del Taco and buy a shuttle code and some food - oh wait a tick, maybe that wasn't such a good suggestion here on this forum :o

    :D

Funny OP. I agree, people should lighten up. I feel bad for saying it but the forums were less hostile and whiny in beta.

I don't care too much about downtime. I know there are people that are wigging out though, saying that they paid for a preorder so somehow that means they paid for OB and Head Start. In actuality, these items were free with your preorder, FREE. I won't deny that they were incentives to preorder, but would you still buy the game if you hadn't preordered? I think most of us would still say yes, I in fact preordered and did not know about getting into OB or Headstart. At the time, this information was not common knowledge, so it was a bonus and a pleasant surprise to be able to play sooner than everyone else.

You could start demanding Cryptic points for every loss of game time you experience due to Cryptic's "oops".

Say 50 points an hour.. :D

Seriously, you paid 240 bucks for a lifetime of game time without a reoccurring bill. The game may go long enough to pay for the Sub, it may not. These servers on a reservation in CA, or in Vegas maybe ? :D

    I kidd...
