At least the forum banter is entertaining, but the urge to blow stuff up is so overpowering...............

This is what you get when you hire drunk non-unionized elves to run the server.

They had to start all over. Servers should be back up in 2 hours.

Remember I am clairvoyant, I know things.

I'm sure I'm not the only person posting here that is a technical sort of person (as in, professionally, in related fields to what the Devs are likely dealing with). It would help if they gave SOME sort of updated message. Even if it does nothing but assuage people.

It doesn't need to be, "ETA two hours," or "ETA 9pm", or anything like that. It can be as simple as:

"We are working on the issue that began at approximately 12pm PST. We are currently still working on it. Last updated 315pm PST."

That's certainly not asking too much.

Everyone does realise that according to theory, if we continue (or increase) the posting rate, the closer we get to the speed of light, time dialtion will take effect.

Effectively, if we ALL post like madmen, we may be able to preserve whatever game-time we have left.

KNEW there was a great reason for this thread :p

3 hours later with no response is epic in the worst way. Beta is OVER, this is supposed to be the point where the hard cores get out of the gate/way for the casual gang next week. WTF?

Actually they've given a couple of responses, all of which amount to: "Sorry, we're trying really hard!"
