I've played a lot of MMO's over the years, I have to say this launch went fairly smooth. I personally had no problems other than small lag/rubberbanding, which I just like to pretend are spacial anomalies throwing my ship around. Though I hear there were some patching issues with some players causing them to have to download 10GB? Anyway, this game is pure evil. I started playing at 1PM EST when the server came up and the next thing I knew it was 4AM. I had a lot of fun and didn't feel like I was grinding or doing anything too repetitive during that time, even though I had done the same content a week ago in open beta.
The one small complaint I have is the lack of patch notes. A section devoted to Release Notes was put up but it hardly seems to get used. I'm curious what this small 120~ MB patch they put up overnight is. Anyway, I figured the forum could use some positivity. I'm going to go spend another 12+ hours of my life flying around in my new Escort
