Anyone else unable to log in?

I purchased through Steam and I've been trying to log in, off and on, since noon my time yesterday.

Every time I start the game, the launcher pops up, I put in my password, and then the launcher freezes up and is unresponsive.

Any help with a work around would be great.

    Deleted everything. I'm trying a fresh install.

    We havent been able to play all day because of this. and no word from cryptic.

    Nah, I'm unable to get past the updater. I put my password into the updater and it just freezes up. I'm in the process of redownloading so maybe that will fix it. I'm not holding my breath.

    If it doesn't resolve my issue, I'm thinking about getting a refund and just not playing this game. I've kind of all ready lost interest after not playing for a few weeks, which is weird.

    Oh well, maybe my interest will be sparked again once I get a chance to actually play the game again.

    If you use steam search for steam threads. many isues about that problem.
    only downloade the beta one time the update the game thru the launcher.
    turn of steam after downloade. other then that i dont know. maybe key isue
