Any Possibility of putting up in the forums the color chart positions to get that looking uniform. I liked the Dominion War uniform, But I need the red for command.

Here's the image you refer to, and no it doesn't have the quilted shoulders, and does have that era's combadge.

Nice, I think I did see that several months ago but this week when looking for a picture of it all I could find were the little pictures of the CE contents that Amazon and places have.

I put the TNG Movie uniform on my Science officer female because she looks great in it it, like Diana Troi did. The rest I have all wearing type type 2-B uniform (my avatar) for I love how they look.

I'll get a high detail screen shot, when the servers come back up, of my whole away team and post it here.

Here she is, all nice and blue: "Zyria" Science Officer (BO, Betazoid)

I posted the rest in this thread here.

Still wish we could select a default game uniform and override the defaults in game with it. I am not a fan of the Federation Circus.

I agree, I give all my boffs a customized uniform, it'd be nice if my random security folks and random bridge seat-warmers had the same.

call me obsessed but I got all my crew to wear the same uniform the hard way. I wrote down exactly what options my captain's uniform had and reproduced them by hand.

It looks great in away missions.

The bridge has an issue though I'd like corrected. It seems on my Miranda I am given two bridge "extras" in addition to my crew (and yes, I have my entire crew slots filled and BO stations assigned).

I would preferably like these "extras" removed entirely...

If that can't be done, I'd like some way to change the uniform on them. To have just TWO people on MY bridge with different uniforms is insubordinate. To the brig with em...

I go with the uniforms as seen in 'Countdown', the comic about Captain Data, Nero, Spock, etc.

It's the digital download not the collectors edition that offers them. They are still bugged though.

I got mine from the CE. All I had to do was go to the tailor, and they were right there. You may wish to talk to someone with Cryptic about it, as you were supposed to get the uniforms.

And I still want an option to click to give my BO and crew the same style uniform I as the Captain, is wearing!

    Yup agree

There should be a way to have new crew and the no-name away team red shirts automatically outfitted in the captain's style when they come on board. Or maybe have three costume slots for default Tactical, Engineering, and Science outfits.
    Agreed 100% with you guys.

I fail to see how it's hard to implement a customization feature that only me alone on my bridge will see.
(I've yet to invite someone there, do you people do that and just hang around doing bs?)

Anyhow, just giving a proper uniform (basic Tac / Eng / Sci that I choose, hell I don't use the games red/blue/yellow standards) to those lifeless npcs on my brdige cannot be that hard or stressful (client or server wise) to implement. Unless you never thought that players would want that. It seems so obvious, when on your bridge, that there is a total lack of uniformity... I can't believe it could stay like that. Why ruining immersion because of a little skin? it's not like there are scripted events here, and it's all just one instance with one player 99% of the time.

That being said, I find the TNG/DS9 uniforms very shallow.
    • They're badly textured. For instance sewing lines are blurry on those uniforms, not on A1-B5. (worst is TNG)
    • There are huge discrepancies with the real uniforms: collars opened too low (below the horizontal torso color change) and too wide (the designers mistook the fabric flexibility for a V-neck shape, geez how obvious if you care to look for 2 minutes). (this applies to DS9)
    • The fabric looks cheap and stiff when they seemed solid and comfortable in the show. (DS9 again)
    • The color palette in not consistent with the one used in the shows (reds are not close to magenta enough, yellows are too golden for TNG or not enough for TOS, blue/greens are ok). Seriously, the red palette is the worst. (obvious on TNG's, valid for all reds in star trek compared to STO)
    • Pants cannot be black, they're dark gray at best, because the texture looks like cheap 19th century wool instead of 25th replicated synthetic fibers. (the TNG-DS9 pants)
It's overall very weak, the DS9's result is mediocre (someone just took the TNG movie uniform and put uglier textures), and TNG series uniforms are only saved for a time by their inherent originality. These "exclusive" uniforms are a joke. A shallow job by someone who either didn't care or didn't have the time to make it look professional.
