What can fleets do?

Hey everyone,

I'm interested in joining a fleet for the team aspect of it but after going onto the websites of several fleets and playing in the beta, I'm at a loss to as what a fleet can actually do?

For those of you in a fleet, what does it provide for you? What do you contribute to support your fleet?

    fleets can uh, fly around and um, shoot stuff.

    In all seriousnes? Fleets are just for big chat rooms as far as I can tell. They said the raid-i-sodes are going to be 5 man (or was it 6?) So....not really a raid at all. Thats just a normal group lol.

    Fleet actions are always there, tho you dont actually need a fleet to do em, just zone in, pew pew pew, hope to get the big numbers.

    I dont think they put in very much for fleets =\

    Well a fleets like a guild... a group of players who love to game together. You get used to peoples tactics and become more efficient plus you can arrange things faster in guilds/fleets and share unused mods and weapons etc

    Being in a fleet will prove its worth quickly i think
