Quad Cannon Comparison

So I just bought the legendary avenger, and it comes with the Overload-Linked quad cannons. I already have the quad cannons from the defiant set fully upgraded (gold mk xv). Is it worth blowing an ultimate upgrade on the O-L quads to replace the fully upgraded one I already have?

No.
Unless you have some strange need to run this can with beams and overload I guess.
The defiant, and Terran adamant agony version are both part of the set, which is nice if you want to put cloak or battle cloak on a non cloaking ship.

Yeah I did a quick check too and unless for what ever reason you want to run the quad cannons in predominantly beam build I'd say it's not really worth it to replace the fully upgraded ones (and even then it would have be beam overload based build as the quad cannons don't benefit from "fire at will").
