I want to be able to pick Boff Traits

My current understanding is that Boffs can be upgraded to into Epic level Boffs with Superior traits and i can unlock a single addition "Captain Trait". However what i cant verify is if there is some way to re roll their inherent traits. This is kinda important as i use the Story Boffs on the Bridge (As Roddenberry Intended) and am building a small faceless army of disposable interns for ground mission (Also As Roddenberry Intended). The Issue being is that because of this i don't need ground traits on my Story Boffs and i don't need space traits on my cannon fodder. Could i get the ability to swap inherent traits from a list if i have a Epic Boff at least?
