Video with Questions from the Community November 2024

CasualSAB (@spencerb96 ?) recently has posted a video with questions from the Community regarding the transition from Cryptic to DECA. It can be found here:

We all understand that such a transition from one game developer to another is a complex process. I think a lot of the issues mentioned in this video can easily be addressed with some communication from DECA. Therefore it would be very kind if the higher-ups at DECA take a look at this and can communicate what their plans with the game are, that would give the community some reassurance.

honestly, I think this is just an indication that DECA really has no plans other than maintenance mode after they complete what Cryptic has already started Zero effort to communicate with the players shows they don't care as long as money flows. BTW I looked at one of the embracer financials (DECA does not have an X feed) and the only mention of STO was listing it as a back catalog game, whatever that is, but it doesn't sound good

Actually, those of us on the Community Team have already been introduced to the new Community Manager, who will be taking over from Ambassador Kael. Things may or may not be completely in place for them to communicate directly with the playerbase by the time they take over, but rest assured that there will be communication.
