Please for the love of this game, give us a mute/block option for chat. Your staff should not have to be lifeguarding the chat pool to moderate 24/7. ChatBot Mods clearly aggravate players more than they help.
Toxic behaviour and such is harming the community's ability to enjoy the game.
The simplest solution is to give players the ability to mute, (text and voice), players that they do not wish to hear from.
About 2-3 years ago the PlayStation block feature no longer carried over into STO, taking away our only means of avoiding bad actors in game.
I have many friends who either have quit the game, or repeatedly take long breaks from the game due to the overwhelming stress of harassment and hatespeech coming from specific individuals. This would solve the problem in one fell swoop.
