Ship Rename Crashes game

Every time I've tried to rename my Bajoran Interceptor, the game crashes. Is there a way to disable this (make the game incapable of crashing)?



Update: it seems to happen to any ship I've tried to rename. I believe it has something to do with this latest patch. As this didn't happen before today.

I've discovered precisely what's causing the crash: there's a glitch in the rename function relating to any ship whose prefix is optional (that is, you can choose not to assign a prefix via "none"); this glitch is not present when renaming any ship that requires a prefix ("none" is not one of the options). Also of note is that the glitch is still present on prefix-optional ships if a prefix is chosen (that is, assigned by default, as in the Kolasi and Rex).

That is, it IS safe to rename any ship that has a mandatory prefix. All other ships are off-limits for renaming at the moment.
