Delta Flight - Clear and Present Danger

It has been some time since I played this mission. I have gone through 31/32 rings. Mission objective is to destroy Herald Patrol. There is an objective ring on the map but there are not enemy hearld ship patrol to destroy. Is this mission bugged, or am I required to successfully go through all 32 rings to get the Herald patrol to destroy? I do see the USS Bern disabled in space, but flying up to her has no result. I am in a bit of a pickle as I need to complete this mission to finish out my Delta Recruit objectives.

might be a glitch. I've done that run within the past 2 weeks, not saying that it has not broken since then

Either you missed a ship or it just bugged out. Just drop the episode and restart it. Never had this problem on this mission.

well, i just ran Delta flight intentionally missed a couple rings, it completed fine. Drop the mission and run it again
