Prisoners and Colonists

Hello peeps. I haven't figured out what Colonists and Prisoners do ?
I am full on both and have some in my inventory too ...
What do I do with them ?

You can use them in duty officer (doff) missions or possibly for select fleet projects.

For the colonists, some of the Colonization chain doff missions at various star clusters and nebula need them.

For prisoners there's the Negotiate Prisoner Exchange doff missions.

Maybe even check to see what they're worth on the exchange and sell some

Also for prisoners there will be the occasional global endeavor to turn in 10 prisoners to a security officer.

In addition to what's already been mentioned, there's the "Transfer Prisoner to Starfleet Command/Klingon Security".

The easiest places to find these Security Officers offering this Duty Officer Mission:

• Earth Space Dock, at the far-right window if you look out from Admiral Quinn's office;
• Qo'noS First City, just on the left near the Romulan Ambassador as you enter the Great Hall;
• Deep Space K7, in the central square, on the side diagonally-ish opposite the transporter room;
• Starbase 39 Sierra, just outside the transporter room at the console on the right;
• Ganalda Station, one of the 3 main NPC's in the central square's raise area;
• Deep Space Nine, in the holding celles area behind the Security Office.
