Quoted from a post I made in a now-closed topic:
December 2023
This morning, while playing a Federation character who is flying a Romulan Malum Warbird (T-6,X2) I completed the "Coliseum" episode and chose the Reman Prototype Shield as my reward option from the mission.
For the curious, the reward shield from the Coliseum episode DOES NOT work with the Reman equipment which is acquired from the New Romulus category of the character Reputation system.
I spent the better part of yesteday and this morning completing the episodes with the objective of acquiring that shield with the hope that it would work with the portions of the Reman set that I already had on my ship.
Short answer is, "nope".
At least it doesn't work "out of the box", so to speak.
So, I'll just be patient and continue working through the New Romulus category of the Reputation system.

The wiki pages mention being able to "upgrade" the Coliseum shield, but I'll have to get more energy-credits and dilithium to purchase the tech-upgrades in order to even attempt that process.
::: "Le sigh" :::
Today I used tech-upgrades to level-up the Reman Prototype Covariant shield array that I recently acquired from the Coliseum episode.
In the process, it automatically became an Advanced Reman Prototype Covariant shield array.
I leveled it up from Mark-XI "Blue/Rare" quality to Mark-XII "Blue/Rare" quality.
The important thing is, that now it is compatible with the Advanced Reman Prototype sets acquired via the New Romulus menu of the character Reputation System.
I'll try to enclose a screenshot.

1) One or two resist consoles usually provide the best balance between survivability and the number of ship's console slots used. There are diminishing returns in that the more of them added the less they do.
2) All 3 science consoles aside from the Plasma Warhead Module aren't really doing much.
3) Tactical and Universal console slots are often best used for things that help the offending party's ship(s) go boom (explode) so are best for things like tactical and other consoles that have offensive stats.
4) Sometimes cutting back on torpedoes or mines and adding a few more energy weapons (i.e. beams) can work well.
5) Mission reward consoles that do multiple things are your friends
6) The best defense is a good offense!
Zero-Point Energy Conduit Offensive
Assimilated Module Offensive
Lorca's Custom Fire Controls Offensive
Temporal Disentanglement Suite Offensive + more
Trellium-D Plating Defensive + more
House Martok Defensive Configuration Defensive + more
(yes, there's room for all of them)
Good luck out there!
