More Doffs !

Hello all I have another question about Doffs.
I have 200 of them and think I need more because many of the Doff missions require Doff types I don't have.
In the past I have only bought Federation officer packs (my toon is Federation).
I am wondering whether some of these other Doffs I don't have any of are from other packs like Gamma or whatnot ?
I need advice before I sink any more money into Doff packs.

Yeah, 200 isn't enough. You need 400+ They do seem to build up over time.

Over time I got some off the exchange to "fill some holes" in my roster on a newer toon in order to get going, but also from completing the doffing categories (offers purple doff + more purples that can be bought with dil when completed - optional), some more from completing doff assignments (the clusters in sector space or perhaps the bridge of your ship), and lastly some from fleet holdings.

Might have gotten a few more from expansion packs that included them as well as some that were either given away in game (i.e. visit the Sally Ride) or earned through completing goals with recruitment characters. There's also some in the Phoenix Store.

Edit: the Sally Ride gives a Admiralty Card, not a doff. My bad.

Really? Most of my characters get by easily enough with the bog-standard 100!

I periodically go through the roster. I don't need 7 antimatter specialists. the only ones you need more than three are the research lab guys for doing the tech reseach stuff
