BoFF training

Hello I am just wondering if BoFF abilities can be trained above level 2 ?
I was just at the trainer and he only has level 1 and 2 ...

Level 3 comes from your own crafting and from converting doffs into manuals.

VR / pink doffs often know at least one level 3 skill, which can be as their 3d or 4th skill in space or ground, or both. Lower-quality doffs might also have a level 3 skill but it's more rare. You can only convert doffs that have not joined your active roster, no shooting Tarsi or Flores in the head, please.

Crafting, each of tactical, sci, eng can learn to craft the manuals for their career using the R&D crafting. Look at the skill tree to see which ones you've learned or can learn. You first craft a PADD component then craft the skill manual. For example, a Science captain can craft Gravity Well 3. A Tactical captain can craft Beam Overload 3, Fire at Will 3, Attack Pattern Omega 3.

If you join a fleet, fleet mates will often be happy to craft the manuals that you can't do yourself.

You can also buy manuals off of the exchange.

Finally, there are a few special training manuals that only come from C-Store packs, boxes. These can be found on the exchange too but are very expensive.

There is one more way to learn level 3, but it's expensive: buy Elite Bridge Officer tokens. Making them Elite teaches them everything.
