Astronaut Frank Borman died today. he was Commander of Gemini 7 the 14 day endurance mission, and of Apollo 8, the first trip to the moon.
When Apollo 8 orbited the moon on Christmas Eve, Nasa received a telegram; "Thank you for saving 1968"

And was 95 years old. Quite a life and legacy!
