Ship damage visuals

I would be nice if you could apply a vanity shield of sort that made the ship look like its been through a major fight ,hull damage from torpedos and phaser scorch marks etc . Would be like flying Kirks ship after the fight with Khan with all the damage to the sides . I dont know if this would ever even be done though ,pity cos it would be nice.
