3D Printing customs issue, need help

I did the 3D starships printing thing and ordered 2 ships. The list cost of the 2 ships is $120 US (around $160 CAD) before taxes and shipping.

I was notified that the package was due to be delivered, but was told I would need to pay an over $300 CAD customs charge. I decided not to accept the shipment and asked Customs to contact me to dispute the charge.

I did get in touch with a Customs agent today, and he told me that the reason for the charge is that they do not believe the cost of the item is as mentioned on the declaration even though it is a customized 3D printing. The notes in the analysis seem to indicate that they looked at eBay auctioning and saw "similar items" being sold at $1000 each. Since I ordered 2 items, the customs charge is based on a value of $2000. I sent them my invoice stating the cost of the items but was told that this is insufficient documentation.

Is there anyone from Canada on these forums? The Customs agent told me that they need further proof of the real value of these printings and I figured the only way to get it is if I can get others to show how much they were charged by customs on their 3D prints.
