Hello, how do I start a colony ?

    Unless you mean the Colony Fleet Holding, you don't. For the Colony Fleet Holding, found a Fleet, then choose Colony World on the left menu of the Fleet screen, then slot projects from the lower rightt. Then pay and/or grind for months (years?) to complete it.

    Years. It's a tier 5 holding like the starbase.

    Also, fleet holdings are not really player housing. There are a few fixed set of cosmetics that can be added (for 100,000+ dil each) that are exactly the same for every fleet holding in every fleet. You can't customize holdings, add a bunch of cosmetics, etc. like in for example Star Wars TOR or houses in Skyrim. Nothing like that.

    Fleet holdings are just private social zones, like having your own private instance of Earth Spacedock.
