Should the Hydra's gear add to the MVAE set?

When the Hydra came out, I was very surprised and kinda sad seeing it didn't add to the set from other advanced escorts like other related ships Cryptic's made do. Does it seem like a fair desire to see something from the Hydra (console or experimental weapon) extend the set bonus with the MVAM and plasma expulsers consoles?
