where the TRIBBLE is the probe in the vault?

I've done the vault 3 times now and cannot find the stinking temporal probe.

23. The Vault - It is inside the vault, in the same room as the warbird but you should get the notification it is close. The problem is it either doesn't visually appear or it spawns in a wall or there is a glitch. Use the map and look for the grey dot to find it. Found along north wall at the bottom. Thanks to u/Vildras. Alternate location: In the first chamber of the Vault. It can be found on mini-map once your officer tells you it is near.

In the main room with the borg cube as you enter it is low right side usually.

I wish!! I spent forever trying to find the temporal Probe in "A Gathering Darkness" I hunted all over the map trying to find it, then realized it disappears after the planet is destroyed by the Undine, for nearly 10 mins I few all over the map zooming in and out trying to find it, but it was not there. I had to replay the map and then hunt for it again, this time without triggering the cutscene of the planet being destroyed. Cutting the cord is also a hunt for a needle in a haystack, not easy to find, in fact few of the Space one are easy to find.

I always have trouble finding it in cutting the cord, even knowing that it is near the supergate at the end

Collecting the probes will appear as mission-objective when you are on the right map and correct stage of the mission.
So keep an eye on the objectives, and when you see it don't leave the map and try not to complete the current mission-stage until you have found it.
Granted, this is of limited help in "the vault", but useful in may other mission.
