Let that patch do its thing. The first day this happened, I patched and ran out of time for the day to get in. The second day, I patched again and experienced the error that all players were experiencing. The final day, I had a huge patch and was able to get in. Sorry it seems that the problem is rearing its head again and on Easter. It appears to be affecting all Cryptic games, Champions Online, Neverwinter Online, and of course, Star Trek Online.
Edit: On second thought, maybe don't let the patch do its thing.

I was finally able to log-in after 6 or 7 attempts & haven't been booted yet. Darn annoying but stuff happens I suppose.
