Hi I just wanted to say thank you all of the Cryptic staff that work on STO. You folks cop to much from the community.
I love the obvious hard work and love put into the missions, ship design, and attention to detail. Yes there a few bugs (god knows I've found a few) but it has been a good time.
I don't mind dropping a few dollars on a value for money bundle once every few months to support the game either. But I cannot think how else I support Cryptic to make more content...
I too would like to thank the devs for making a game that I enjoy playing even if right now it's mostly end game, endeavors and events. I still do story content on occasion too, but it's just fun to get ingame and play around too.
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything.
Yes I too as well would like to say thank you to the devs.
After celebrating my 12th anniversary on march 21st last month.
This is the only game that I log into daily, even if its mainly to do events and endeavors and the only mmo i have truly stuck with because of how much I love star trek, the game, the ships and the missions and chat with friends if they pop in while I am online.
Live Long And Prosper Cryptic Studios..
I'll take the blame 😅
I won't be getting any free stuff though because I play on PlayStation
Ahhhh now I get it. It was a console sabotaging PC outbreak. Just because PC players get things a bit earlier to console players you staged a coup ............... hahahahahahaha
Other hand, now that the outage has been fixed, we all get presents, so...
It's kind of funny how knowing even little programming made me a lot more patient for issues like this, knowing how hard it can be to troubleshoot what exactly has gone wrong and the stuff I've worked with is quite a lot more simple then STO is.

Yep. Haven't done any serious coding since the '80s, but I still know how much of a pain it is to track some errors, especially the intermittent ones.
(My personal record for errors from a single program is 187 runtime errors, generated because I missed a semicolon in the Data Definition section of a COBOL program. Hunted for the issue for three days. Tried very hard to kick my own behind when I found it.)

I feel ya there! It's the same with proof reading for me. I can spot errors in other's work instantaneously, but my own....god no!
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.

If it wasn't as bad as without it, I also have Dyslexia so I'm really blind to my own spelling errors or typos, I can sometimes forget whole words (mostly short words but still), embarrassing in text, really bad in code.

I still remember messing up my first Hello World! program.. (by ending the statement with a colon instead of a semicolon.)
I'd like to thank the team for their work on the game over the years, too! Even if there's been issues like the recent one, they've come a LONG way since launch. The game is in an amazing state, like with model work and story. I'm also really impressed they're still keeping the game going this well despite how much code seems to be unworkable.
