Hello! I would like to make a few suggestions regarding the traits on the legendary akira:
1: Coordinated assault.
I think it would be nice if it got a slight update to provide both overload and rapid fire when you use overload OR rapid fire.
The current version issues the one you are using to your pets, which means you need to coordinate your build with that of your pets. If you are using beams and they are using canons, there will be a mismatch, if you are using cannons and your pets are using beams, there will be a mismatch.
Having the trait grant both when you use either would work more the way superior area denial does and be a nice quality of life improvement.
2: Torpedo Command and Control.
I would like to recommend adjusting the complexity and hyper specialization. This trait is basically tailored to this exact ship which means it will only ever work effectively on this ship or ships practically identical to this ship.
I suggest:
When activating command OR miracle worker abilities, for 6 seconds, you and your pet's kinetic weapons apply -2.5 kinetic resistance rating.
+
When activating torpedo spread or torpedo high yield, grants your pets torpedo spread and torpedo high yield and resets their torpedo cooldowns.
Making it so that command OR miracle worker activates the debuff would allow ships that are just miracle worker or just command to have the option to use the trait effectively as well.
Due to kinetics firing very slowly, even when modified to improve fire rate, the 2.5% damage resistance per stack is rather lack luster. There is a global cooldown that prevents rapid fire for kinetics, unless using the Eagle console on a ship with pilot maneuvers, which this trait wouldn't even be functional with.
Torpedo spreads and high yields that fire multiple torpedoes in a single shot would help mitigate that slow-fire stacking problem, which is the theory behind the second part in which the power grants torpedo spread and torpedo high yield to pets in a similar fashion to superior area denial and coordinated assault granting energy weapon firing modes.
We don't currently have a starship trait in game that focuses on granting kinetic firing modes to pets, other than Insult to Injury, which wouldn't synergize very well with this ship (or most ships really) due to triggering from intel abilities or tractor beam. As such, I think this would be a perfect opportunity, especially considering the theme, to create the torpedo spread/high yield version of superior area denial.
The effect of granting torpedo firing modes to pets would also provide functionality to ships that don't possess miracle worker or command abilities, increasing the desirability and versatility of the trait.
Should you find the proposed change undesirable, I would recommend at least making the command OR miracle worker trigger a thing, possibly add a kinetic firing mode as a trigger so that non-spec ships can make use of the trait, for example, torpedo spread, and possibly adjust the stack rate to a minimum of 5, or just immediately grant -50 the way superior area denial immediately grants -30 all damage resistance. I would also recommend increasing the window duration to a minimum of 10 seconds to account for the innate slow/low fire rate of kinetics.
A low damage resistance rating stacking slowly from slow firing projectiles with a short window to capitalize on it won't compete well with other traits in the game that are much better for kinetics, pets, or both.
P.S. I would also like to draw your attention to my suggestion regarding the Legendary Akira's build being modified to a flight deck carrier, as the designer intended her to be a carrier, and the fact that flight deck duty officers that reduce relaunch cooldown overperform strangely on dual hangar ships and underperform on single hangar ships. I posted it in "federation" discussion, perhaps it should have been in builds and powers:

Thank you for your time and consideration.
