Independent Wingmate trait should apply to saucer separation, Aero shuttle, MVAM, etc

During the Ten Forward that introduced the latest mirror bundle, Jonathan said that Independent Wingmate should work with the various separation consoles. Saucer separation, chevron separation, Aero shuttle and Aquarius escort, MVAM and the like. Since I always loved these kind of consoles, I want to make sure this doesn't fall by the wayside.
So far it does not give those pets the buff; only hangar pets can receive it. It would be a very helpful buff to those consoles which otherwise are only used for looks due to them dying too quickly and doing little damage. Their AI isn't really doing much either.
I'd in fact make an exception for the MVAM console and let both vectors receive the buff and not just one. The community has long been advocating for really any change to the MVAM since it just doesn't do anything in game. I am aware that there most likely won't be any drastic mechanical change to the MVAM, but having both vectors at least receive a substantial damage and resistance buff via the wingmate trait would already go a long way.
