Why the 15 sec global cooldown nerf on Digitizer Torpedoes?

This torpedo was never even widely perceived as anything close to great whatsoever and even building a boat around these things was never worth more than being a thematic 'just for fun' build, and on top of it all unlike other plasma torpedoes these things still only have a 10% chance to even apply a burn proc!

This was a completely needless change and I also spent upgrade ultimates on these things which makes me EXTREMELY unhappy about this. Since this was not in the patch notes, I really hope this was an unintended change and I plead this gets reconsidered! There are a lot of brokenly powerful things in this game but this torpedo was never even a lightyear of being within that category.

Before this nerf the Digitizer torpedoes where already doing 1% of the Plasma damage that normal plasma torpedoes do. Now Digitzier do something like 0.2% of the plasma damage that normal plasma torpedo do. Digitizer torpedo where already one of the worst torpedoes in game, to nerf them more doesn't make any sense.

I said it before and I say it again. Digitizer torpedoes have all the worst elements of Plasma torpedoes, all the worst elements of tricobalt torpedoes with none of the advantages of Plasma or tricobalt. Digitizer torpedoes are now completely useless compared to any other torpdeo.

Known Issues:

Digitizer Torpedo currently has the long torpedo cooldown, we intend to exempt it since the issue where it lacked the cooldown opened healthy build paths.

Thank you for acknowledging this as an issue, perhaps I could have pointed a less sharp claw at it, but that torp meant a lot to me even despite its other performance issues, I will patiently await the next patch and test it out when this is fixed!

That said, if you devs could consider giving it a 100% chance of applying the DoT like other plasma torpedoes, I would be extremely happy, but either way, thanks!
