KDF toon obtain Harghpeng Torpedo Launcher

I am at a loss, the wiki is incomplete or information is incorrect, on my KDF toon im not finding a duty officer mission to obtain the Harghpeng torpedo....... do I need to be in a certain place to do the mission, or do I need to complete a mission to get it like on other toons, below is the info currently on the wiki:

It appears regularly in Engineering doff missions, and afaik, it is not dependant on position. Not sure if you need to be a certain rank in Engineering, but it will appear.

That wiki entry lists several places where the assignment might pop-up. That doesn't mean it will definitely be there at any given time. Patience is needed as DOFF assignments rotate on a schedule. It appears from that entry, it should show up under Current map as a Military assignment. Good hunting!

i want this torp for its artwork and effects for a T3 build.... for crying out loud, there has got to be a mission i can do and get it as a reward, just waiting and checking to see if its available is not working

A T3 build!? You just need to keep levelling, and to be honest, you won't be using a T3 ship no longer than a couple of hours of game time.

im already leveled to 65, i like using the T3 ships doing traditional builds on them, like Plasma for Roms and such, Disruptors for Klingons

you also have to be in eta eridani or omega leonis sectors

@rctthomas#6483 I just completed the KDF mission "Manhunt" on my new Klingon recruit and the Hargh'peng torpedo was one of the rewards.
