Why no Fleet Colony Compression Pistols?

What it says on the tin. Aside from the apparent lack of Ultra-rare and Epic quality compression pistols (notably of the phaser damage variety) in general, why were these seemingly skipped over for Fleet Colony ground weapons? Especially considering just about every rifle and assault weapon variant is available there, but only have stun and wide beam pistols.
Am I the only one that would like to see more compression pistols?
