Cryptic, if you are so worried about balancing the Feline charm, why not make it purchasable?

Why not make feline charm a purchasable winter wonderland item? I mean, as an event reward the charm is kinda subpar, its not a weapon or equipment for ground or space anyway and wont disrupt the normal gameplay outside of wonderland, so why not make the charm more accessible?? Instead of punishing every player for using a quick and convinient way to get around the expansive Wonderland map,, including those who dont race, why not offer the stuff for sale?
