I'm now at level 29 and when I get my next free ship, which one should I choose?
I curranty use the heavy cruiser you get access to once you have the first free ship.
Leveling ships are a great place to experiment with different ship types.
I'd suggest trying out an escort with dual cannons next to see if you enjoy that playstyle. Then, give a science vessel a spin to see if you enjoy the anomaly-oriented/'space magic' gameplay flow.
Later on, you will always have access to "mirror"(use that as a keyword) ships on the exchange for EC if don't want to spend money and are after a specific playstyle.
The Winter event ship is OMG AWESOOOOOOOMMMMMMMEEEEE
I'll find out in about half a day..
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
It's about synergy for me. Console and trait may be awesome (they look filled with potential) but does the ship fit my play style.
Take for example the T6 Risian Corvette, which is generally lauded. It is one of the few ships i cannot seem to get in sync with.
The fehk'lir skitterbug may be the same, I will know in a couple of hours.

If you have the Consoles and Starship Traits from the other Fek'lhri Event Reward ships, "OMG AWESOOOOOOOMMMMMMMEEEEE" gets elevated, "To Infinty! And Beyond!" In fact, the only weakness mine has is the person flying it.

First impression: It's fast and loud.
Tempting though it may be to throw all the Fek'lhri consoles on the ship, i feel it would not fit the ship.
On the Fek'Ihri Fe'rang or Fek'Ihri Gok'tad-class however the loud and in your face consoles/traits could make for an interesting game.

@questerius Haven't yet determined if all of the Consoles or Traits benefit the ship. Still trying out new things on it. Some of them work and some do not.
I forgot where I was when I posted previously. Your post reminded me why I mostly lurk here now. When I remember this place still exists.

It's fast. The console attached it good and the starship trait imo is one of the best.
