Dilithium exchange

I recently contacted the moderators of Star Trek Online concerning the lack of available zen in the dilithium exchange and even suggested a possible fix, but was ultimately sent to the forums. The fix I suggested was raising the limit on the dilithium to zen off of 500 to 1. Hopefully my suggestion will be used to make the overall experience better for everyone in game.

Raising the limit is actually covered in the frequently created threads, thread btw. What is more sought is new ideas for how to create new dilithium sinks, if you wish to take a go at that. Personally though, I wish they'd at least cancel the upcoming bonus dil event, we absolutely do not need an increased supply...

What do you mean... how could there be an oversupply we just finished a week long Admiralty event. lol

OP this has been gone over more then a few times. No a rise of the limit from 500 to 750 or 1000. Would not solve the problem. There is 10 million dilithium waiting to be bought for Zen if you click over to the zen sell tab. Currently the backlog is around 1 month give or take a week. Rising the limit it would simply instantly grind out at the new limit. Perhaps a higher sell price would encourage few players to buy more Dill with real $... but that isn't what happened in Neverwinter. Cryptic rose the limit in NV and it simply ground at at the new price within a few hours and nothing at all changed.

The only real solutions are on Cryptic. They probably need to stop running Dill weekends, and Admiralty weeks if they are even a little serious about fixing the issue. Then they need to actually do some work on their end and add real sinks in game. They don't seem to want to do that, all their solutions so far have been sort of half measures... the fleet gear they recently added is over priced for what it is. The boff upgrades would have been a great dill sink but they would rather sell them for Zen (and no one is paying 500 zen per boff to upgrade ground stuffs... for boffs you can't even use in group content think Cryptic think).

They did fix the Rep T5 payouts... which really didn't help much. Next they will likely target Admiralty, which will also do nothing. Only way the dill exchange is getting back to a few day wait or better is if Cryptic does some actual work that is aimed at nothing more then fixing their F2P Dill economy. Seems like they can't get approval to do anything that doesn't sell for Zen WHICH of course makes the dill issue even worse. So here we are...

Mentioned thousands of times before, is an FCT, and will not help anyone, in fact it'll make F2P even more worse off if they want Zen.

Don't know who you actually spoke to, but a forum moderator would've never sent you here to create a thread on an FCT topic. /Thread
