This probably changed a couple of weeks/months ago and I missed it, but one can no longer buy Phoenix boxes with 10 x lowest grade Pheonix tokens. IMO that's a really lame 'anti-user, pro 'encourage people to buy Zen and convert to dilith' move. Really sucks when devs make these kinda changes which have no benefit for the user, but are just aimed to add to sales.
This is similar as the move to make it so you no longer earn Admirality 'passes' from missions and can only get them by spending dilith.
Funny how they never mention clearly these sort of changes yet will wax lyrical about 'sales and deals' nearly every other message on the launcher.
Funny how both changes you mentioned were made to help with the issues in the Dilithium economy. 🤔 Just goes to prove that the devs can't make a move without someone being unhappy about it, even if said change helps more than it hinders. 🤷🏼♀️

The devs decided to "shuffle the deck" back in May of this year. Whether or not it will really accomplish anything is a matter of opinion but it's possible that sometimes we as players fail to see "the bigger picture" they are working from.
Actually, it was pro-user, preventing people from wasting potentially 40k Dilithium worth of Tokens on a 4,500 Dilithium Prize Pack that had a 1:1 bajillion chance of getting an Epic Token or 5:1 bajillion chance of a UR Token.

I accidentally did that once years ago when I meant to buy the upgrade token right above it in the list. I felt as dumb as the time I deleted an email between alts that had some crafted gear attached when I was speed-deleting a list of completed auction messages. "Wait, that wasn't an auction mail...D'OH!"

I have to agree with this. As far as purchases go this one didn't seem like a good value.

Here's what they had to say - Better Odds and More Prizes in the Phoenix Prize Pack!
