Greetings...

As I said in my introduction in Ten Forward, I am a 56yo old man and long time gamer, who just relatively recently began playing STO, and I am looking for someplace to hang my hat so to speak. As such, I am looking for a good Fleet (guild) to join, be a part of, and help out when needed. I am a casual player who is also semi serious about it as being disabled and not working, I have a lot of time on my hands. I am very respectful, helpful, curious, and willing to team up to play STO (even though I like going solo as well). However, being disabled with Epilepsy with some "brain trauma", I should let you know that learning about the many aspects of the game can be challenging for me at times (as my memory stinks lol), even though I am trying hard to learn.
And it certainly doesn't help that info on STO that can teach you specific things about the game is oh so hard to find. lol So I figured out of respect, I would let any Fleets who wish to have me know, that the learning curve about the game can be a bit higher for me then maybe most at times. That being said, I am looking for a good Fleet with the following aspects (if possible)...

* A friendly, helpful, cool group of players who not only play the game but enjoy the actual social aspects of it as well.
* One which is maybe mostly American based, as being American myself, it just makes more sense teaming up wise, ya know?
* A Fleet that is ok with RP too, as being in the game for roughly 2 weeks now, I can see a lot of potential in it (though to be honest, I don't do much RP myself, but I am not super opposed to it either).
* One that is fully stocked (at least T5 if I am getting the terminology right that is) and have many members who actively play.
* A Fleet that doesn't issue "commands" or "demands" things from their members, as I feel that fun is what one should shoot for always, and being "forced" or "ordered" to do something they don't want to do sorta kills that in my mind (plus it's just disrespectful too, ya know?).
* One that does not mind (and even likes maybe) helping out new players, either with answering lots of questions, showing them things (including around the galaxy), or heck even mentoring them along.
* A Fleet that has a real website of their own, with members who are active on it, is always a plus in my eyes. :)
* One that has the option of teamspeak in one form or another. That being said, I have not used it much in years myself (nor do I use Facebook or Twitter at all), so that too I would have to learn about just to let you know lol.

Now I know there is more that I am most likely forgetting, but I guess the above sorta hits the finer points. I know that the game has been around forever (like it began in 2011 right?), and having looked already in game I see that there are a ton of Fleets out there, but being the shy cautious one that I am, I want to be a part of one that is not only good, and active, but is also respectable and respected. I have been a part of Guilds/SG's before, and while many can stink (as I am sure you all know), some can be real gems too. And this is one I am looking for that would like to have me as a member. Though that reminds me of a famous quote from Grouch Marx, who said... "I would never be a part of a group that would have me as a member." lol
Anywho, that about sums it up me thinks, so I will let you all go now. Thank you for your time and patience in reading this "Fleet Request", and here's hoping a good big group will want a poor ol' Captain such as myself (and yes, my main is already a Captain, thank you very much lol.). Take care, and as always...

Peace...

    Hi Bjorjlen,

Please allow me to introduce our fleets.

Access Denied is a well established active, casual, friendly Tire 5 Fed fleet
Naw'Tem is the T5 KDF sister fleet of Access Denied.

Our Federation and KDF Armadas both have the highest level in STO. We became the joined highest ranking Federation Armada during the summer of 2019 and have been the highest ranking KDF Armada for 4 years now.

    What we offer:
Three T5 Fed fleets and two T5 KDF Fleets. All our Fleet Holdings are at full Tier with plenty of Fleet Provions to go around.
If you are a Romulan captain you are welcome to join one of our fleets as well, of course.

    Our Purpose:
Strive to provide an active, casual, friendly and mature environment for Star Trek Fans and players of the MMO game Star Trek Online. Provide a team oriented community where fellow gamers can have access to like minded individuals seeking casual play with knowledgeable members, whether they are new to the game or long term players.

    About Us:
Access Denied/Naw'Tem are gaming Fleets (Guilds) for the online game Star Trek Online (STO). Access Denied/Naw'Tem are not hardcore fleets. We are tailored to the working adult, student and/or parent who cannot afford to spend countless hours on an MMO when life's priorities demand our attention. Access Denied/Naw'Tem strive to offer a mature, active and friendly community that specializes in casual play for individuals who want to enjoy Star Trek Online without the pressures and time demands that other fleets sometimes inadvertently place on their members.

Our fleet has members from all over the world in many different time zones. So you are sure to find members online at every hour of the day.

    What we aim to offer:
    *Established active fleet
*Weekend, evening and seasonal fleet events and activities
*Easier access to teaming for 5-man STF content
*Experienced and helpful leadership & members
*Maintain a Tier 5 Fleet Starbase, and other holdings
    *No Stress!
    *No Drama!
    *Website and Forums
    *Home away from home
    *Access to our Voice Servers
*Access to our shared chat channel with our Sister Fleets and Armada Fleets.
Our Sister Fleets are; Access Denied, Naw'Tem, AD-Task Force Sierra Six, Access Denied 2 and Naw'Tem'Cha (All are T5 Maxed out fleets)

    How to join:
If you are interested in joining one of our fleets, or would like additional information regarding fleet policies, please visit our website (1). The only requirement to join our fleets is to read and accept our Code of Conduct or CoC (2) and follow fleet policies (3). If you accept our CoC and policy rules then you are welcome to join us.

Please feel free to contact any of the Officers listed on our fleet officer pages (4)(5) by either ingame-mail or Personal Mail. All our active Fleet Commanders, First Officers and Staff Officers can send fleet invites to players. Or you can apply on our website. Hiya... :)

It is very ironic that you posted an offer here, as just this morning I filled out your Fleet application to join. :) I would have set up a user account/password as well, but I figured doing so before you even saw my application, let alone accepted me, would be a bit rude to do, let alone presumptuous. So please let check it out, and/or contact me in game (my handle on my main is j'len@bjorjlen#6464), or if you like send me an email.

As I tend to not notice the chat much in the middle of a space battle, I "might" miss your Tell, so don't please let that discourage you. Also, please don't just send a blind invite, as I automatically decline them all without even looking at them as I feel people should talk to one another if someone is going to invite another person to a group (at the very least lol). As I said, I am a old TRIBBLE, so I be a bit old school, and communication is a big part of it ya know? :) Anywho, I look forward to hearing from you, and until then, as always...

    Peace...
