Why was the 3rd Event in Event Campaign IV not advertised in Game on Console?

I'd really like to know if the Devs thinks that the player base has developed telepathy? I've been waiting for the 3rd event in Event Campaign IV on STO Console. Although I play on PC a lot now I still log into STO Xbox most days to get Fleet Projects slotted etc. A little while ago, I saw a Pahvo Event was running but I wasn't interested in the Event Reward (which was rather lame and not worth a buyout) and I also dislike that event generally. It was only today that I found out from a fleet member that the Pahvo Event was the 3rd Event of Event Campain IV but was not advertised as such and a lot of people missed it because of that. To add insult to injury, on console, we don't even get the option to buy it out after the event. Very poor showing.

The buy-out options could be improved by also offering campaign progress separately from each event's progress. So someone who just needs 3 more days could pay for that instead of buying out an event.

Well, that and actually letting people buy the events they missed which is apparently not fully working on console.

Edit: I see Pahvo in the old News on PC but not on console, your fleetmate might be confused. The Kumaarke ground set event was not part of the event campaign.

Yep I thought that at first but then he has 3000 points of Campaign Progress which is not possible from just two events. In fact on Xbox if you look at the Campaingn Progress you can only see the first Event that was part of the Campaign. The second and third events don't even show. Thats how I missed it because I always look at that page to see if an Event is active as Cryptic always mess up the new feed on console.

So although you might have fallen behind on campaign progress, you can make it up. The campaign was designed for 5 events x 14 days (70 total days) of progress... but each event is 21 days, so the total availability of the campaign is 105 days (5x21)....

Yes I hear ya. I usually weigh up how badly I need Dilithium before I buyout an Event and that's usually the only reason I do it. However this time I didn't even get the chance because I missed the whole event and it had expired before I found out about it. On PC you can buy an event out after its completed so you can catch up. But as usual with Cryptic's Console Deployments, that "feature" is not there at all so I can't even get that progress back buy buying it.

Hmm, not on twitter either - a PC announcement but not consoles.

The 3rd event has not been run yet.
